Hot Chili Oil

Szechuan hot chili oil is really easy to make, anyone in the world can do it.
You can use it to make the sichuan spicy chicken, beef, pork. Put it on top of the noodles. Dip it with dumplings, wonton. There are so many possibilities you can do. So I hope you can give this a try.

  • My grocery store has hot chili oil, but that oil has no pepper flakes. However, it also has a product, “fried chili in oil” – it looks like the oil in your YouTube video with pepper flakes but is a thicker consistency. Can that be used in the dumpling dipping sauce?

BTW – just found your YouTube videos and just bought the medium sized carbon steel wok. Love both! And thanks for the instruction video on how to season the wok – very helpful!!
    Thanks, Mandy!

  • Excellent! Love the addition of the peanuts. So good in hot and sour soup and stirred into some Kewpie mayo for Karage chicken dip!
