Spicy Szechuan Chicken

Sichuan spicy chicken, we call it la zi ji (辣子鸡), which means pepper and chicken. The authentic look you will find in Sichuan province is that the whole dish is full of pepper and Hua Jiao (花椒). Looks crazy and it might scare some of you… Personally, I think it is very tasty and addictive- The chicken is salty, slightly sweet and full of warm spicy flavors. I hope you will like it too.

  • My husband just cooked this for dinner. Delicious and easy to prepare abd cook. We just ate it with Jasmine Rice. We both love Szechuan Peppercorns and my husband loves chilli’s. It was not too spicy either.

    We love all the recipes we have tried off your site.

  • I followed the printed recipe for this dish and it was horrible. Un-eatable had to throw it away.

    Problem was with the stir fry. 3 cups of dried chili and a 1/4 cup of "Sichuan"peppercorns.

    There was no instructions for the vegetables
