Sweet and Sour Pork (Northern Style)

Northern Chinese Sweet and Sour Pork (锅包肉) is very different than the Cantonese sweet and sour pork. The coating is much thinner and lighter. The sauce is much less so the pork can actually stay crispy.

  • Super good that you share all those recipes.
Now I live in Denmark; we also have a lot of Chinese stores with Chinese products, but with Chinese labels, so we don’t understand what it is. It’s okay, but the problem is that due to the language, it can be very difficult to get the items you need for a recipe, even though they probably have them.
So, if you ever have time, it could be a great help for many to have a list of what the most commonly used things are called in Chinese and how they are written, so one can take it along when shopping
