Pork and Celery

Today we are making pork and celery stir fry. It is one of my mom’s favorite because she is addicted to celery. She makes this all the time. It is so easy and delicious. It is also one of those recipes that I started learning from my parents in the early time of my childhood. I can’t believe that I haven’t share it yet.

  • Great recipe and easy to assemble. I had to improvise though as the pork slices ended up sticking to the wok and there were brown patches at the centre and sides of the wok where I had scrapped off the stuck pork pieces. I then made space in the middle of the wok, added more oil and threw in the garlic and the veggies and fried them all together with the pork. Added a cup of water to deglaze the pan. Still tasted great! Would appreciate tips on the pork stirfry – was there not enough oil, or the pan was not hot enough or the fire was too big or small etc.? Thanks!

  • This is a fantastic quick recipe, I’d never cooked Chinese celery before and it’s so good! I used two small pickled Thai chiles as that’s all I had and it was delicious.
